State Requirements For 491 Visa

State opening dates for the 491 visa are listed below, along with further information.

Subclass 491 Visa for Skilled Work in Regional Regions permits skilled employees and their families to live, study and work in selected regional areas for a period of five years, subject to points testing. A Skilled Work Regional Provisional (subclass 491) visa may qualify you to apply for a Permanent Residency (Skilled Regional) (subclass 191) visa, which grants you permanent residence and the freedom to live and work anywhere in Australia.

For regional Australia, the subclass 491 is a temporary points-tested visa that helps them connect with people and skills they need to develop and prosper. For those who want to live in regional Australia and have talents that are in great demand on the Australian labour market, this visa is for you. The Department of Home Affairs is responsible for issuing this visa.

Be aware that aside from the Department of Home Affairs requirements, each state and territory has its own requirements that applicants must meet in order to be nominated. State and territorial regulations might be difficult to navigate.

We’re aware of these challenges, which is why we’ve gathered the fundamental requirements of all states/territories in this post so that you can have a better sense of what has to be accomplished to enhance your chances of getting invited.
