Eligible qualifications
It is required that you have completed a degree, diploma, or trade certification in order to apply for a subclass 485 in the Graduate Work stream. In the Graduate Work stream, for example, a student can satisfy the Australian study requirement by completing two consecutive Diploma level courses, providing the other requirements are met.
Qualifications must be closely related to nominated occupation
There must be a direct connection between the student’s chosen skilled vocation and the qualification(s) completed. To be regarded closely linked, your qualification’s skills must be immediately transferable to your specified occupation in order to qualify.
